This subject provides a comprehensive overview of genetic diseases ranging from clinical presentations to its underlying biochemical, genetic and molecular foundations. A number of selected clinically relevant diseases will be used as an exemplary basis for examining causes, contemporary diagnostic methods and preventative /ameliorative approaches that apply to groups of common genetic disorders.
