Abstract
The subject focuses on the nature of historical understanding. It seeks to explain and assess the place of historical objectivity, casual judgement in history along with speculations on the use of history by social and political interests. On successful completion of this subject students will be able to critically appraise the diverse historiographical and methodological traditions that underpin the presentation of histories. |
