Abstract
This subject is focused on the role of the entire Project Management Lifecycle as a means of delivering organisational change. The subject will guide the student from the start of a project idea, through planning, creation of deliverables and handover to the customer or client. An appreciation of what controls and processes are needed to maximise chances of long term success will be gained. This subject will particularly help the student understand and leverage the value and importance of those phases of the project lifecycle that precede and follow the execution phase. |

Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- be able to justify the importance of Project Lifecycle Frameworks;
- be able to critically evaluate the project lifecycle in organisational change;
- be able to determine the role of adequate project planning and communication in long term project success;
- be able to create and explain a sound business case for successful project implementation;
- be able to critically analyse business processes using best practice process modelling and mapping techniques; and
- be able to create a project handover and completion plan for long term success of organisational change.
