STA001 Bridging Into Statistics (2)
AbstractThis is a two day residential school for any student (internal and distance education) undertaking a statistical subject. It is intended to provide students with the necessary skills to successfully attempt subjects such as Business Statistics (QBM117), Applied Statistics (STA117) and Scientific Statistics (STA201). Topics include calculator skills, basic algebra, introductory statistics, sigma notation, inequalities, introductory probability, and computer skills. |
