CSU Excellence Scholarship
Charles Sturt University (CSU) Excellence Scholarships are awarded to students based on a combination of academic merit (ATAR (NSW) score of 95.40 or ENTER (VIC) of 95.0 and above, inclusive of the Regional Bonus) and evidence of demonstrated leadership and citizenship within the community.
The Scholarship is a cash scholarship of $5,000 per annum for students studying in an undergraduate course for a maximum of 5 years, provided the scholarship recipient continues to meet the scholarship ongoing eligibility.
In 2010 there are 12 CSU Excellence Scholarships available; three assigned to each Faculty at CSU : Arts, Business, Education and Science.

Who is eligible to receive a CSU Excellence Scholarship?
To be eligible for a CSU Excellence Scholarship in 2010 you must, by the Census Date (26 March 2010) in 1st Session:
- be a first year commencing student in your first session of study at CSU in 2010
and - be enrolled as a full-time student
and - be enrolled as an internal student in the majority of units of study that form part of the course of study you are undertaking
and - be studying their first degree
and - not be in receipt of a Commonwealth Scholarship (CS) or a CSU Equity Scholarship (CSUES), (however, you may choose to forfeit these scholarships in order to accept the CSU Excellence Scholarship)
- have an ATAR (NSW) of 95.00 or an ENTER (VIC) of 95.0 (inclusive of the Regional Bonus Points or above, or the equivalent
and - provide a summary statement of evidence of demonstrated leadership and community involvement
