Our role

  • Advance Bathurst students’ needs with the university.
  • Administer an annual budget and manages spending.
  • Organise and promote events for you.
  • Support our peers, student organisations and clubs.
  • Communicate with students and staff.

What we've worked on recently

  • Providing regular subsidised lunch and free coffee for Students.
  • Annual Scholarships for Bathurst students engaged in the University community or Sporting Community.
  • Dag Night, 80s Prom, Drag Queen Bingo and other social events.
  • Collecting funds for charity.
  • Subsiding Club registration fees for students, training opportunities like First Aid and Paramedic student Uniforms.

Required quick response from any office at CSU. Students wait long period or sometime no response, should be vibrant as a spirit of commitment of CSU. Required more face-to-face communication, meeting or collaboration rather than online communication. Flexible and minimize communication distance between students and teachers.

I am excited to join the Student Representation Committee (SRC) to advocate for the interests and concerns of our diverse student body. As a PhD student, I understand students' unique challenges, including study & research, mental health support, and balancing academic and personal life. I am committed to addressing these issues by fostering a supportive environment and promoting transparent communication between students and university administration. My goal is to ensure that every student's voice is heard and that our academic community continues to thrive. As President of the SRC for 2024, I have accomplished a lot in increasing campus vibrancy and promoting inclusivity at Bathurst Campus. I am proud of the progress we have made in creating a more dynamic and welcoming environment for all students. Looking ahead to 2025, I am eager to continue this momentum with a specific focus on events and liaising with sports teams and clubs. My goal is to organize and promote events that reflect the core values of CSU, fostering a sense of community and belonging. I also aim to create a platform for others to showcase their talents, interests, and initiatives. By working closely with various student groups, we can ensure that our events are diverse, inclusive, and representative of our vibrant student body. Together, we can build an even stronger, more connected Bathurst Campus, where every student feels valued and engaged.
