Bachelor of Paramedicine
Coming into my last year of Uni, I'd absolutely love to make the most of my time at CSU by being present around campus and involved with uni life, events and other students. I have a passion for community and feel strongly about creating inclusive and epic experiences with the aim to unify and connect young people.

Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science in Diagnostic Radiography
I recently joined the Port Macquarie SRC in a temporary position as a General Member. As a former student as a different university, I have throughly enjoyed becoming a more involved, approachable and thoughtful student now enrolled at Charles Sturt. I've found the experience incredibly rewarding, and I believe it has profoundly benefited my outlook on what it means to be a student. So far on the SRC, I have contributed to the Foundation Day barbecue, have put forward the 'Recess Revival'; student event, and have attended various meeting when they have been held. I hope to be reelected to the SRC, to help develop a closer and more open passageway between students and the SRC themselves, as I believe without thorough communication between the two parties, there cannot be a fully functioning SRC that all of us can benefit from.

I am eager to join SRC because I am passionate about enhancing the student experience and fostering a sense of community at our university. As an international student, I bring a unique perspective and am committed to promoting inclusivity, bridging gaps between domestic and international students, and ensuring everyone feels valued and heard. I believe that my proactive approach, strong communication skills, and dedication to continuous improvement will contribute positively to the SRC's initiatives. Greetings. My name is Cody, I have been on the Port Mac campus for over 6 months now, as an SRC member I will ensure that better events that will engage students are put forth and promoted correctly. Everyone has seen colour runs and other gimmicks, I want to bring to the table some enjoyable events that all students will engage with. Competitive events and creative ideas are at the forefront of an enjoyable uni experience.

Bachelor of Education (K - 12)
I would like to be a part of the SRC for the same reason that I would like to be a teacher- I love being able to help young people. It always brightens my day to know that something I have done has helped someone else. I also love being able to take on initiative. I hope this has been evident through my current planning of the mini golf day out and organizing the speaker to come in October.

Bachelor of Social Work
I would like to be a part of the SRC because I feel that there is a need for a First Nations voice in the SRC , I would like to liaise with the First Nations students and relay out messages towards that SRC, I also noticed the lack of a NAIDOC event at the campus and have heard from multiple students that they would have liked to have a celebration, I also feel I want to gain a understanding of sitting on a board and navigating the sometimes political space.
