Your Wagga Wagga SRC Representatives 2024/2025

Elected in 2023

Bachelor of Agriculture

It is not 'jol'; without a South African. I promise to make events 'lekker';

I like to get things done punctually and in an organized fashion. Being part of the SRC will give the international students representation. Making the events on campus have a more inclusive nature.

My reason for joining the SRC is to develop my employability skills and meet a network of interesting people. Hopefully make some friends along the way.

I look forward to representing the SRC. Also come with some photography skills and media training.

Bachelor of Animal Science

I'm excited to join the CSU Student Representative Council to help organise amazing events and address student concerns. I bring great communication and organisational skills and look forward to working with the 23/24 SRC team!

Elected in 2023

Bachelor of Veterinary Technology

I'm keen to be in the SRC to get more involved with the university community and work with an awesome team of people! I'm super excited for the events and year to come!

Elected in 2023

Bachelor of Veterinary Bioscience/Veterinary Science

I wish to be a part of the SRC largely due to the welcoming atmosphere their events provide. The events held by the SRC are a wonderful place to meet new people or catch up with friends outside the stressful confines of lecture theaters. I aim to continue this atmosphere and expand the participation in these events while hopefully helping to provide new insight to the SRC on a number of matters from someone in their early years of uni.

Elected in 2024

Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Bachelor of Veterinary Science

I have had the pleasure of sitting on the Wagga Wagga Student Representative Committee during 2023-2024. In 2024, I was elected the President of the Wagga SRC which allowed me to lead and work with other committee members to put on great events at our on-campus venues. Two of my greatest SRC achievements include working extensively with campus clubs to provide more financial support than ever, ensuring great events for students and the reintroduction of Friday Unwinds with paid student artists. If I am successfully elected for another term on the Wagga SRC, my focus will return to the running of events and supporting the on-campus clubs of Wagga. I am currently in my 2nd year of Veterinary Science and I am also involved in several on-campus clubs.

Elected in 2024

Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Bachelor of Veterinary Science

I am a second year veterinary science student and have previously studied a science degree. I am passionate about utilising student perspectives to effectively direct investment, planning and energy towards events and other supports for individuals and clubs to contribute to the student experience throughout their time at university.

Elected in 2024

Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management

I am interested in joining the SRC to expand my practical experience and to engage with a wide range of students. Events are a huge part of student vibrancy and it would be a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the planning and organisation. I believe that the experience would benefit student vibrancy and enhance the student experience in Wagga Wagga. I have thoroughly enjoyed representative and committee roles in the past, and the opportunity to represent the student body at Charles Sturt Wagga excites me. I believe that being on SRC in my final year would be a great way to close the chapter on university life. I would bring my knowledge and on-campus experience into the role to help benefit current and future students.

Elected in 2024

Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Bachelor of Veterinary Science

I would love to renominate for the SRC. In 2024 I was the Vice-President of the Student Senate, the SRC Vice-President and senior events planner. This year I helped plan events such as Coast vs Country, Back 2 Skool and the first ever paintball event. I would love to continue advocating for student issues and assisting in contributing to campus vibes. If re-elected next year I would love to see more events, continue to help with club funding, and support the student body in advocating for things such as placement poverty issues."

Elected in 2024

Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Bachelor of Veterinary Science

I wish to be a part of the Wagga Wagga SRC as I feel very passionately about creating a fun and sociable atmosphere for students. I love to get myself involved with the university, create social events and collaborating with my peers. I wish to help create an environment where students feel comfortable bringing forwards ideas, and I will do my best to support them in successfully making them come to life. I feel that all students should have a voice within our community, and I would feel very grateful to be the representative of this!

Bachelor of Animal Science

Since moving to Charles Sturt at the start of the year, being part of such an active community has made my Uni experience incredibly positive. The wide range of clubs and events at Charles Sturt Wagga has on offer provides countless opportunities to engage, learn, and grow. This vibrant environment has inspired me to want to join the SRC to help enhance the student experience for others. I want to contribute to the strong sense of community and make a meaningful impact on campus life by representing student interests and supporting initiatives that benefit everyone. Ensuring students have the best Uni experience possible is something I'm passionate about, and I believe that being part of the SRC will allow me to advocate for positive changes, support student initiatives, and help create an inclusive and engaging campus environment.

Elected in 2024

Bachelor of Education (K - 12)

I wish to be a part of the Wagga Wagga Campus Student Representative Committee, because I am dedicated to building a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. As a student myself, I recognise the value of having a voice that expresses the needs and concerns of other students. As a part of the SRC, I hope to listen to and amplify students' views while collaborating with faculty and staff to address issues that are most important to us. Some issues I believe are important include improving mental health resources, enhancing student services, and increasing student involvement in decision-making processes. I am committed to being an active and approachable representative who strives to have a positive impact on Charles Sturt University.

Bachelor of Education (K - 12)

I am keen to get involved in the SRC to enhance my engagement with and represent the student body at Charles Sturt University Wagga. I am passionate about giving students the best university experience possible, whether that be residing on or off campus, through entertaining social events, distribution of funding and making informed decisions to their benefit. Throughout my time and Charles Sturt I have been an active member of many clubs, and worked in a variety of roles representing our university. Upon my final year, a role in the SRC would be a fantastic way to draw close to my university experience, and use that to enhance that of current and future students here at Charles Sturt.
