Fiji and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

This program is subject to change. The information below will provide an insight into what to expect on future programs.

This program is designed for students wishing to immerse themselves in Fijian culture whilst learning about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

During the tour you'll spend time with universities, businesses and community organisations to learn about how they are managing their organisations, with SDGs an integral part of their work.

Through our in-country host, Think Pacific, you'll participate in workshops with staff and students from the University of the South Pacific and Fiji National University, meet with Government and industry partners to explore business and not-for-profit challenges, as well as immerse yourself in the Fijian culture.  Activities will include homestay at local villages, Fijian arts and craft classes, language lessons and excursions to areas of natural beauty such as Colo-i-Suva Rainforest Park, Leleuvia Island and a field trip with Uto ni Yalo Trust.
