This intensive 5 Day program occurs annually at various international locations. This is the fifth year (limited by Covid) that Charles Sturt has been invited to participate after previous successful participation in South Wales, the Netherlands and Germany.

The summer school this June in Cardiff (South Wales) has been developed with Dutch, Welsh, German, Australian and Norwegian academics.  The theme of the Summer School is Vulnerability and Threat.  The topics include: Policing the mentally ill; Human trafficking; Missing persons; Domestic abuse; Terrorism / radicalisation.

There will also be an opportunity to have access to HYDRA, a simulated scenario tool.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from experts in the field and will help you better understand global perspectives on contemporary issues in policing and the broader criminal justice system.

Your Course Director will participate in the Summer School with you.
