The Destination Australia Cheung Kong Exchange Program is a joint funding initiative of the Commonwealth and the Cheung Kong Group (CK Infrastructure Holdings Ltd, represented in Australia by Powercor Australia Ltd).
This funding's objective is for Australian universities to support international education engagement between Australia and specified Asian countries by delivering short-term mobility scholarship opportunities for outbound Australian students and inbound Asian students.
This funding's intended outcome is to strengthen engagement between Australian universities and their Asian counterparts and to offer students the transformative potential of an overseas study experience.
Each mobility scholarship is worth from $2,000 to support short-term mobility, including study tours, or up to $8,000 for a semester exchange. Charles Sturt University determines the exact scholarship amount per student.
The mobility scholarships are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate university students applying for learning abroad programs at specified Charles Sturt partner universities.
