Dongguk University International Summer School

Want a short burst of international experience relevant to your degree? Looking for something to do on your break that is part of your subject? Take a look at this program, run by Charles Sturt University exchange partner Dongguk University.

Dongguk is located in the heart of Seoul, in the middle of the city but surrounded in a natural and peaceful setting. Over the past 117 years since its foundation, Dongguk University has been active in religious, political, social and cultural fields.

Through its 2025 Summer School you'll have the options to learn about film/media, culture, Buddhist studies, criminal justice, language, business, and more; study fields that Dongguk University is renowned for. This program will also be enriched with cultural activities to teach you about the historical & social backgrounds of Korea beyond the boundary of the classroom.

Learning about so many different cultures and meeting such a different group of people is something you can’t experience in classrooms here. Everyone was there for the same reasons; a love of learning, love of travel and curiosity. These things bound us all together.
