Projects Abroad

Projects Abroad have been offering international experiences in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America/the Caribbean and the South Pacific for over 30 years.

Through volunteering and internship opportunities, Projects Abroad's programs all work toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and is one of the many reasons why Charles Sturt Global list them as one of their preferred partners.

Taking part in a Projects Abroad Program you will:

  • Explore a new country with like-minded travelers
  • Contribute to a program that will have a meaningful and real impact
  • Be supported by staff who in some instances have participated in a Projects Abroad program
  • Receive support before leaving Australia right through until you return home.

Program overview

The best thing about organising your own international experience is that you can choose when to go depending on your own commitments  When looking into options, consider your study requirements here in Australia for example, session dates, intensive schools, the examination period.

Be sure to discuss your plans with your Course Director, just to ensure you will not be at risk of missing any important dates.

Cost: Will vary from program to program.
