Bank details

Keep your bank account details up to date, as financial transactions such as refunds or scholarship payments will be made into this account.

To add or update your bank account details go to Online Administration.

Once you have logged in, click Bank Details, under Edit My Details.

This page will allow you to add bank account details, check your current bank account details, and change your current bank account details.

We encourage you to open a bank account prior to studying at Charles Sturt University.

If you do not have a bank account, the University's banker is Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) and your local CBA bank manager will be happy to discuss your needs and assist you.

International Students

CBA has agency arrangements with many overseas banks, enabling them to assist you in establishing a bank account in Australia, prior to your arrival.

Charles Sturt will process any outward payments to you via your bank account. You should provide Charles Sturt with your bank account details so that all refunds will be processed directly to your bank. You can enter your details online once you have received your logon username and password.

Debit Cards

Ideally, you should also have a Visa debit card or MasterCard debit card attached to your bank account so that you can make payments to Charles Sturt for your fees and other charges using our online payments facility. (Charles Sturt discourages payments by cash or cheque).

Debit cards have a Visa or MasterCard card number and expiry date to enable them to be used online, but are not credit cards as such, as they have no credit limit and use credit funds held in your bank account. If you have a bank account but no debit card attached, talk to your bank to arrange for the issue of a Visa or MasterCard debit card.
