Access via 'postoffice' accounts

We'll be removing access to various Microsoft products (such as Office 365) via 'postoffice' accounts shortly.

If you're logging in with an account in the format of username@postoffice.csu.edu.au, please follow the instructions below to make sure you can still access your files and programs. You'll need to do this by 11 April 2023.

This only affects some users. If you're logging in with an account such as username@student.csu.edu.au, no action is required.

How to migrate your files

Step 1

Change your account login

The first step is to change over to your student account. This will be in the format of username@student.csu.edu.au (e.g. jsmith20@student.csu.edu.au).

To do this, you just need to login to Office 365.

  2. Select Account from the bottom left.
  3. Click Change License on the right.
  4. Click the Sign In button.
  5. Login with your account in the format of username@student.csu.edu.au.

    1. OneDrive - postoffice.csu.edu.au
    2. OneDrive - Charles Sturt University
  2. Open your postoffice.csu.edu.au folder, select all the files and then copy them (right-click and select copy or CTRL+C).
  3. Open your Charles Sturt University folder and paste your files (right-click and select paste or CTRL+V).
  4. Verify that all your documents have been copied by making sure you're able to open and edit them.
