Respect at Uni Week

Respect at Uni Week focuses on respect, inclusivity and safety across our campuses, online spaces and communities. We have zero tolerance for gender-based violence—everyone at Charles Sturt deserves to feel safe, respected and like they belong.

This is your chance to learn how we're preventing and responding to sexual harassment and sexual assault, and how you can help make our uni safer for everyone. We aim to empower you to speak up, take action, seek support and create change.

We're committed to educating our student community on:

  • Gender-based violence
  • Being an effective bystander
  • Accessing support
  • Championing equity

Universities across Australia are working together to make ‘Respect at Uni’ a reality.

Respect at Uni Week 2025 runs from March 17 – 21 in conjunction with Harmony Week with online and on-campus activities across the University.
