Criteria for nomination and selection include:
- Enrolled Student at Charles Sturt University: The nominee must be an enrolled student at Charles Sturt University, actively working towards a degree or diploma during the eligibility period for the award.
- Sporting Achievements: The nominee should have demonstrated outstanding sporting achievements, such as exceptional performance at state, national, or international level in their chosen sport, records, titles, or outstanding contributions to team success.
- Academic Excellence: The nominee should have maintained a high level of academic performance while actively participating in their sport. This can be reflected in their academic results, GPA
- Time Management Skills: The nominee should have displayed excellent time management skills, balancing their sporting commitments and training schedules with their academic responsibilities. They should have demonstrated the ability to effectively manage their time and prioritise their commitments.
