As an Academic Lead (Learning and Teaching Quality), Dr Kalle plays a central role in refining processes, analysing data, and engaging with stakeholders to uphold academic standards. He is passionate about generative AI, academic integrity, student progress and retention, innovating course content and assessments in the GenAI era, and improving teaching quality through innovation, with a commitment to fairness and delivering exceptional educational experiences.

Dr Kalle has worked for more than 25 years at Charles Sturt, with extensive teaching credentials and leadership experience within the School of Dentistry and Medical Science, focusing on Molecular Cell Biology and Molecular Pathology. His contributions to teaching innovation, notably in audio feedback, have been recognised with numerous awards and have been showcased at both national and international conferences.
