Session 1: Launch and Introduction to The Collaborative

Dive into the principles of Fair Trade Learning (FTL) with an overview of the community and international development literature and best practices that shaped FTL as an ethical framework for civic and global learning abroad.

Session 3: Toolkit Workshop

Explore our shared teaching and learning resource in this interactive workshop. Learn about the origins, applications, and support mechanisms of the Toolkit, and discuss other knowledge mobilization forms, including our Summits, Institutes, webinars, and blog.

Session 4: Global Engagement Survey

Utilise the Collaborative’s Global Engagement Survey (GES) to evaluate our impacts. Since 2015, 39 institutions/organisations have participated in the GES, with over 11,000 students surveyed. This session will explore research-informed practices to measure community and student impacts, aligning with our principles, especially FTL.
