Assessments: review with reference to action items from the previous session

Task 2

Learning support: identify critical literacy, numeracy, and referencing support required

  • Consider embedded literacy and numeracy skills development, especially for subjects with large numbers of commencing students.
  • Negotiate provision of contextualised strategies and resources with the Academic Skills Coordinator.
  • Explicitly identify workshop dates and relevant resources in the Learning Schedule of the Subject Outline.
  • If your subject requires access to BKSB (literacy/numeracy diagnostic online tests), confirm details with your Faculty's Academic Skills Coordinator.
  • If your assessments require information & digital literacy, ensure that this is reflected in the question and/or rubric.
