Reflect on your subject and what could be improved for next session.

Disclaimer: subject preparation processes within and across Faculties/Schools can vary; the below pages are to be used as a guide only. In the first instance, refer to directives from Faculty and your School especially in relation to due dates.

Task 1

Reflect on any subject issues

  • When subject performance data is available and after all marking and moderation has been completed, consider organising a subject team meeting to discuss any issues with subject performance, the assessment tasks, marking criteria, marking and moderation process.
  • A guide as you reflect on feedback from students’ subject experience (SuES)
  • Consider Site Analytics when reviewing the subject performance.
Task 2

Review CSU replay (Panopto)/Zoom Recordings to avoid archiving.

  • CSU replay (Panopto) recordings are stored for approximately two years.
  • Online meeting (Zoom) recordings are purged each year.
  • Recordings that need to be kept for longer than these timeframes require you to raise a DLT Service Request for further advice.
Task 3

‘Subject Reflection and Planning’ form in QUASAR.

  • Complete the QUASAR form prior to the 2nd School Assessment Committee meeting.
  • Sample Reflection statements, Reflection and Training Video (20 Min), Reflection and Planning Steps are available for support QUASAR Help
  • The dashboard on this page displays a variety of learning and teaching data for this subject including the subject history. This may be considered when completing actions. If you are not on campus, then either VDI or VPN is required to see the dashboard. See DIT’s site on Off Campus access for information how to use VDI or VPN.
Task 4

Ensure moderation and student records are stored appropriately.
