Bachelor (Honours) University Medals are awarded annually to one honours student per faculty.
To be eligible to be nominated you must:
Date | Process | Description |

25 November 2024 | Nominations open | OGCA will invite the Executive Dean (or delegate) of each faculty to identify anyone who has graduated or will graduate in the relevant calendar year and meets the eligibility criteria. Any students that have a misconduct finding against them or for any other reason they see necessary (which must be reported to the Academic Senate). |
29 January 2025 | Nominations close | The Executive Dean (or delegate) will notify OGCA of their nomination. |
3 February 2025 | Medal Recipients Identified | The Executive Dean (or delegate) will affirm the recipient for their faculty who meets the criteria and has the highest mark for their thesis or dissertation and will advise Academic Senate of the results. |
April / May 2025 (Regional ceremonies) September 2025 (Sydney Metro ceremonies) | Medals Conferred | OGCA will notify the Medal recipients, and they will be given the option to receive their medal at the April/May (regional) or September (Sydney Metro) graduation ceremony, or have it posted to them. A recipient will be required to return their original transcript so that an updated transcript can be provided. |
