Support a cause
Support funds are established to raise money for a particular cause. Often these are memorial funds established by the family, friends or loved ones of individuals as a way of honouring their memory. Fund raising is driven externally with the support of the Advancement Office.
In addition to raising valuable income for scholarships or other initiatives the establishment of memorial funds also serve as an important link to families and friends in their time of need and have a long lasting impact in terms of community relationships and our values and reputation.

Through our Opportunity for All equity-based funds, we are committed to changing this. These scholarships and support programs provide life-changing opportunities for students from underrepresented backgrounds, including First Nations students, LGBTQI+ communities, refugees, and those with lived experience of the justice system.

We believe that, with the right support, every individual can make a positive difference in their community and our world. The Charles Sturt Foundation’s Regional Impact Scholarship Fund fulfils two important objectives: helping regional students overcome barriers to higher education success and addressing critical skill shortages in rural and regional Australia. The fund is home to the student food pantry initiative as well as a range of scholarships for regional students.
