The Treehouse

The Treehouse is a fun, joyful, exciting place of innovation and inclusivity, empowering children to communicate, collaborate, and create a world worth living in.

Watch this space for updates as we co-design and transform The Treehouse located on Charles Sturt University's Bathurst campus (Building 1451).

Where play meets learning and growth

The Treehouse is a beacon of innovation and inclusivity:

  • Research: We collaborate with children to undertake meaningful research to inform policy and practice and change children’s lives around the world
  • Education: We support quality professional education – and provide a fun space to explore childhood
  • Community: We welcome children on campus – particularly children of staff and students who are spending time on campus

We particularly welcome children and families who experience participation barriers due to diverse (dis)abilities, geographical, linguistic, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
