Biography

Dr Tanmoy Debnath is a Lecturer in the School of Computing, Mathematics and Engineering (SCME) at Charles Sturt University. He brings extensive lecturing and research experience from academic institutions across Australia, Ireland, Sweden, and Bangladesh.

His teaching portfolio includes subjects such as Network Engineering, Internet of Things, Android App Development, IT Security, Java Programming, and Database Systems. Dr Debnath is actively involved in curriculum development and provides student mentorship in Computing and Engineering courses within the SCME.

His research interests span a wide range of areas within computer science and engineering, including Artificial Intelligence, E-Health, IP Networks, Multimedia Streaming, IT Security, and Computer Vision. Notably, one of his papers received the Best Conference Paper Award at the ITT conference in Ireland. Dr Debnath also serves as a reviewer for several academic journals and conferences. He is an active member of the Data Science and Engineering Research Unit and the Machine Vision and Digital Health (MaViDH) Research Group.
