Getting started

We understand that you are not a cyber expert, and you don’t need to be. All businesses are vulnerable to cyber-threats. However, from a risk management perspective, becoming aware that you are digitally vulnerable means you can start to manage the problem.

Just like you have learnt to prepare for a storm by watching the sky and feeling the change in the wind, you need to learn to read the digital signs of danger that may threaten your network and data.

Your cyber-safe future can begin with seeing the signs and making simple changes to your digital behaviour.

As a business owner, you have a role to play to keep the network on your farm, and within your business supply chain, safe from external threats.

To help you and answer your questions, we have developed resources to show you the things you can do today to be more cyber-safe.

These resources are provided to you free of charge. You do not have to sign-up to anything or follow a complicated course structure. We have created a range of topics from the basics through to more advanced issues, and you can jump in and out of the topics as you need.

We hope you enjoy the simple learning tasks on this site, and that you can use them to train yourself and your staff on the basics of cyber-security. In addition to the online materials, there are fact sheets that you can download and stick on the office notice board.

We want to help you protect your farm and shut the gate on cyber intruders.
