Biography

Dr Brooke Kaveney is a soil and crop management research fellow at Charles Sturt University. Brooke is an applied soil scientist with a strong interest in soil microbial interactions with crop and soil management practices. She currently works on an ACIAR funded project in the Mekong River Delta, Vietnam investigating alternative crops to rice in climate change affected regions of the Delta. She is also project lead for an ACIAR funded project investigating the effects of upland dry season crops and associated management practices on soil microbial communities.
