I seek to understand how global change is impacting biodiversity and the ways that species interact with one another, potentially jeopardising ecosystem services such as pollination. This requires an understanding of how the current and predicted future distributions of species are affected by their evolutionary history, physiology, and interaction patterns. My research spans these core disciplines and provides an integrated perspective through mobilising historical collections, conducting long-term field studies, and performing meta-analyses.
I am currently an ARC DECRA fellow leading a project that will test how the reproduction of both natural and crop plant species is affected by changes in plant-pollinator interactions over space and time.
