The Fish barrier prioritisation masterclass aims to teach participants how to effectively prioritise fish barriers for remediation, using real-life case studies from their own countries or regions.
The course has been designed in conjunction with the IFRG’s industry partners, and gives the participants a practical understanding of the ecological, social and economic relevance of prioritising fish barriers for remediation.
The participants are taught a barrier prioritisation approach developed by the IFRG, which is highly applied and user-friendly for GIS-users.
The participants apply their learnings to a real-world situation, and come away from the masterclass with a prioritised list of barriers for that case study region.
The course is designed for Australian and international participants. Applicants require STANDARD English Language Proficiency requirements, and either:
A Bachelor Degree (or Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) equivalent) in a relevant field related to the course profile from an accredited University or other tertiary education institution.
OR
Relevant professional or industry experience within the same field as the course profile, of at least five years full time or equivalence, confirmed by a comprehensive resume.
