Researcher Acknowledgement of Defence Trade Controls Compliance

I confirm that:

I have read and understood the Charles Sturt University Defence Trade Controls Act 2012 – Compliance and Administration Policy.
I am aware that in certain instances, I will need to apply to the Charles Sturt University Defence Trade Controls Committee for a permit from Defence Export Controls if I intend to conduct research involving technology that is regulated by the Defence and Strategic Goods List (DSGL) or produce research outcomes related to DSGL regulated technology including publications, patents, equipment, software and ongoing development of technology.
I am aware that it is my responsibility to assist the Charles Sturt University Defence Trade Control Committee with ascertaining whether or not a permit may be required for each of my projects prior to conducting research, developing technology or publishing findings.
I am aware of the Charles Sturt University Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) training module which is available through the Charles Sturt ELMO Online Training portal.
I have not completed the DTCA training module as I believe my research does not fall under the Defence Trade Controls Act 2012 or the Charles Sturt University Defence Trade Controls Act 2012 – Compliance and Administration Policy.
I will contact the Charles Sturt University Defence Trade Controls Committee if the nature or content of my research changes to potentially involve technology that is regulated by the Defence and Strategic Goods List (DSGL) or produce research outcomes related to DSGL regulated technology including publications, patents, equipment, software and ongoing development of technology.
