The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) is the the Australian Government’s primary authority on radiation protection and nuclear safety.

Acquisitions, arrivals and disposals

The committee approves, records and monitors all radioactive substances held on university grounds. The Faculty of Science and Health (FOSH) technical officers keep track of radioactive substances that have been used and stored in each facility.

No purchase orders are to be placed without prior approval from the committee. Please refer to the Radiation Management Plan and relevant Acquisition, arrival and disposal forms for more information.
