Our researchers, staff and students are expected to conduct themselves and their research per the principles of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (the Code), together with supporting guides and university policy and procedures.
The Code sets out the broad principles that characterise an honest, ethical and conscientious research culture, and the responsibilities of researchers and the institution. Commitment of adherence to the Code is a prerequisite to receiving funding by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
