Biography

Peter Gibbs is the General Manager at the Regional Enterprise Development Institute (REDI.E).

Mr. Gibbs served as a Director for the NSW Geographical Names Board and Skillset Senior College and actively participates in the Nulla Nulla Local Aboriginal Land Council in Bourke. He played a key role in creating the IPROWD Program, a training initiative preparing Aboriginal individuals for potential careers in the NSW Police Force. Inspired by the tragic death of his sister Fiona in police custody, the program is now highly esteemed in NSW.

Peter Gibbs has forged partnerships with businesses, the philanthropic sector, and government agencies, implementing innovative strategies to enhance life outcomes for Aboriginal people.
