Biography

Dr. Noel Ye Naung, BDS, MSc (OMFS), PhD, FIAOMS is a Senior Lecturer in Oral Surgery and Anatomy at the School of Dentistry and Medical Sciences. With extensive training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, as well as translational and clinical research, his work focuses on advancing the healing and regeneration of craniofacial bone. Dr. Ye Naung's research specifically explores the use of bone marrow and periosteum-derived mesenchymal stem cells, in conjunction with barrier membranes, to enhance the healing processes of bone grafts and dental implants.
