Biography

Dr Mackey’s PhD explored the barriers, enablers, and ethical decision-making in domestic violence research with children. Her research interests include sensitive social research and interdisciplinary research in domestic violence and  child protection. She is finalising research into social work intensives and interprofessional education. Dr Mackey is the chief investigator for two funded research projects: simulation research in child protection curriculum design and codesigning an interdisciplinary wellbeing clinic for older Australians. Dr Mackey is Co-Convenor of the Social Equality, Intersectionality and Inclusion Research Group (SEIIRG) at CSU.
