Alex’s current research interests include innovative approaches to preventive dental health delivery, focussed on improving outcomes for those members of our community for whom there are barriers to conventional dental health services. Together with work to better understand microbial drivers of periodontitis. Other interests have included epithelial cell biology, malignant transformation, and differentiation controls
