He is skilled in managing health and demographic surveillance systems, national health surveys, and environmental and climatic databases. His current research focuses on assessing the burden of diseases in rural and remote Australia using National Health Data, with an emphasis on child and youth populations in these regions. Additionally, he examines the predictive accuracy of climatic models and develops models to understand the health impacts of environmental factors such as extreme weather events and climate variability, particularly on vulnerable populations.
