Biography

Damien Little is a proud Wiradjuri and Kamilaroi man, a qualified social worker, and an early-career researcher. He is a research assistant in Professor Julaine Allan’s team, focusing on mental health and addictions, at the Rural Health Research Institute at Charles Sturt University. Damien is currently pursuing a Doctor of Social Work with the School of Social Work and Arts. He aspires to advance his career in academia and research within the field of social work. Damien’s research interests include social and emotional well-being, mental health, child and family well-being, and Indigenous theories and methodologies. He is passionate about participatory action research as well as community-based and co-designed research.
