Biography

Rohina Alim has a background in cancer cell culturing and anticancer drug development, where she developed innovative therapies to combat cancer, honing her expertise in cell manipulation and assay development. Currently, she is applying her skills to the field of periodontal disease research, with a focus on Trichomonas tenax, a pathogen associated with oral health issues.

Through this research, Rohina aims to uncover the role of Trichomonas tenax in periodontal disease and explore potential therapeutic strategies. By bridging her experience in oncology with the challenges presented by periodontal disease, she is working towards advancing new insights and improved treatments in oral health.
