Dr Tebikew Yeneabat Mengist holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and both a Master’s and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ethiopian universities.
He is a researcher in a multi-phase, multi-centre research project focused on implementing Computerised Interactive Remediation of Cognition Training for Schizophrenia (CIRCuiTS), aiming to translate cognitive remediation therapy into clinical practice with a focus on adoption, reach, maintenance, and effectiveness.
His research spans maternal and child health, nutrition, and mental health, with expertise in survey design, epidemiology, ethics, quantitative data analysis (Stata, SPSS), Covidence, and systematic reviews.
