We’re excited to introduce our website, which was developed to serve as a central hub for connecting students with essential services on their campus and in the surrounding community. The main goal of the site is to make it easier for students to access the support they need.

The website gives a brief introduction to homelessness from the silent student homelessness epidemic that we are experiencing.

Each campus has its own section on the website, recognising that the services available can differ depending on the location and students can click and bookmark based on the campus they live close too.

At the heart of our project is our slogan, "When life's off track, we've got your back," which is represented in our logo. This message reflects the supportive and inclusive environment we aim to foster through this initiative.

Additionally, we’ve included a link to Ask Izzy, a valuable tool that provides students with quick access to services available in their community. This helps ensure that no matter where students are, they can find the resources they need.

We want to sincerely thank our partners who participated in the project and supported our students throughout their internship.

A huge thank you to:

  • Dale Towns representing Mission Australia
  • John Engeler representing Shelter NSW
  • Shane Delves representing Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network
  • Stuart Davis-Meehan representing St Vincent de Paul

This project has been funded under the National Priorities Industry Linkage Fund (NPILF).
