About the Pharmacy Foundation

Recognising the vital role pharmacists play in providing health care and advice, particularly in rural and regional communities, Charles Sturt University established its Pharmacy Program in 1997 to address regional skills shortages.

Since that time, the Pharmacy Foundation has played its own pivotal role by helping to establish suitable facilities at the Wagga Wagga and Orange campuses and providing all-important scholarships for students, along with other initiatives that support Charles Sturt’s Pharmacy Program.

This is only possible through the generosity of the community, pharmacists, staff, alumni and industry. We thank all our valued donors for their contribution to bringing skilled professionals to our regions.

The Pharmacy Foundation sits within the framework of the Charles Sturt Foundation Trust, a non-profit independent company affiliated to the University oversees scholarships, grants and other Charles Sturt priority projects to make a significant difference to the lives of Charles Sturt students and communities.
