Educational Student Excursion Sponsorship

Educational Student Excursion Sponsorship

$5,000

Each year, the Veterinary Science Student Association at Charles Sturt University (CSU) organises educational excursions for students in their first and third year of study. These excursions provide an opportunity for students to network outside of the classroom, broaden their learning and participate in activities relevant to their studies.

In 2007, first year students will travel to Canberra while third year students visit the Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo.

Many students are unable to attend these excursions due to the costs associated with attending. The Veterinary Science Student Association is hoping to reduce the cost of these excursions through sponsorship, making the trips accessible for a greater number of students.

The Educational Student Excursion Sponsor will be offered a full page advertisement in the Veterinary Science Yearbook, which is produced by the Veterinary Science Student Association each year and recognition in CSU Tails which is sent to more than 3,000 members of the profession. The Sponsor will also have the opportunity to present a topic to students of their choice during a lecture and access to the future generation of veterinary practitioners.
