Named Undergraduate Sholarship

Named Undergraduate Scholarship

from $3000

Named Undergraduate Scholarships are offered to students demonstrating high levels of academic achievement, leadership and motivation – principles that are demonstrated by contributions to the community, to school and university life. Named Undergraduate Scholarships have a value between $2,750 and $5,500 per annum and are the best way to make a difference to the life of a veterinary science student at CSU.

Named Undergraduate Scholarships can be funded in one of two ways:

  1. For a contribution of $2,750 - $5,500 per annum, an annual Named Undergraduate Scholarship will be awarded to a student studying the veterinary program at CSU.

  2. For a one-off contribution of $27,500 - $55,000, Lifetime Undergraduate Scholarships will be awarded each year where the return on investment of the donation is sufficient to meet the awarded value in that year. For your information, the Charles Sturt Foundation currently has substantial funds supporting other courses, which has been provided through donations and contributions from corporations, community organisations and individuals over the past 25 years. The performance of the fund during the year ended 31 December, 2006 was impressive with an 18.2% return achieved, and follows a 16.6% return in the previous year. On average, just 2% of funds donated to the Foundation are spent annually on administration, so you can be confident that a donation to the Foundation is helping those who need it most; the students.

The Charles Sturt Veterinary Science Foundation works with donors to develop any additional selection criteria.
