Skills for LANTITE – Reading is the first of two Studylink enabling subjects designed to address core Literacy skills required by teachers to demonstrate the minimum standard as set by the Australian Government.

All students enrolled in an initial teacher education course are required to sit and pass the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education - LANTITE.

This subject will help you prepare to sit and pass the literacy component of your LANTITE test, and covers core literacy content in the content areas of:

Reading fluency and comprehension
Developing your skills in how to understand and respond to increasingly complex texts, which are areas examined in such a test.
