Sustainability Projects Grant

Do you have an engaging sustainability project idea? Would you like to assist in improving Charles Sturt's sustainability performance to further our commitment toward sustainability?

Sustainability Project Grants offer students and staff from all faculties, divisions and areas of study a great way to turn a sustainability idea into reality.

Grants are available annually for project ideas up to $10,000.

The 2024 Sustainability Project Grants will open on the 3rd of July and close on November the 10th.

Who can apply?

Charles Sturt staff members and students from any campus, discipline, faculty, or division are eligible to apply. Applicants are recommended to discuss their proposed project with Sustainability at Charles Sturt. Please provide a brief description of your project idea so we can support your application.

Please note the funding is for new projects, not extensions of existing projects.

What the funds can be used for

Items eligible for funding include but are not limited to:

  • equipment and material purchases,
  • educational workshops,
  • event delivery expenses (eg venue hire, catering).

Funds may be used for a range of purposes related to the goals of the project. Access the Grant guidelines for more information.
