Whistleblowing policy

Charles Sturt has policies in place to ensure that when things go wrong, resolutions can be achieved to the satisfaction of all parties.

Charles Sturt prides itself on striving for improvement in every way. When things don’t go as they should, there are systems in place to govern how complicated matters are handled.

Our whistleblowing process protects those who feel obligated to make a report when they have reasonable grounds to suspect wrongdoing in relation to the university such as fraud, corruption, illegal activities, unethical behaviour, physical or financial damage, reprisal against a whistleblower, or attempts to cover up wrongdoing.

Complaints processes also exist for our students, staff and people outside the university who feel there has been an issue requiring a resolution. Complaints can be lodged through a dedicated phone line, as well as via an online reporting system 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
