Students making sustainable choices for on-campus events

Charles Sturt University students are embedding sustainable practices into their on-campus events. In 2023, their efforts were focused on reducing plastic waste, banning plastic balloons and providing reusable cutlery during key student events in Orientation weeks. They also made a conscious effort to consolidate student merchandise, maximising resources and avoiding duplication.
