Our Community
Inspiring our regions
We want to inspire the next generation of engineers and shift perceptions around this respected profession. We continually open the CSU Engineering doors to schools, community groups and industry to strengthen our connection to the region, while providing an opportunity for everyone to learn about the role engineering plays in society.
We host key Outreach events throughout the year including:
- Science & Engineering Challenge
- Engfest
- Power of Engineering
CSU Engineering also attends Engineers Australia, Discover Engineering, ExperienceIT and Regional Careers Expos throughout the year.
If you would to attend any of these events or book a school tour of our purpose built engineering building please contact us via engineering@csu.edu.au

Give to your Engineering Community
We are committed to developing a diverse cohort of engineers and are developing a range of scholarships to support the participation of students from all backgrounds including first in family, non-school leaver, Indigenous and regional students. Through the generosity of donors, CSU Engineering is able to improve the outcomes of students and the accessibility of our program.
You can directly support our engineering program through CSUGive, with every contribution helping us build a wider cohort of students ready to explore new ways of doing things.
About us
Our award winning building incorporates the latest technology, encourages teamwork and provides facilities where students can physically build things. This includes a collaborative learning zone, maker studios, project spaces, workshops and a gallery, as well as a 'pitch zone' for fine-tuning entrepreneurial skills.
