Charles Sturt University has partnered with transmission network leader Transgrid to develop the new Transgrid Engineering Scholarship Fund.

The new Transgrid Scholarship Fund will support 100 Charles Sturt engineering students over a four-year period and will supply them with $20,000 each to put towards the cost of their study.

The $2 million-dollar multi-focused scholarship is open for ALL commencing students undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering  (Honours) at Charles Sturt.

At Charles Sturt, we’re producing a new type of engineer – one who wants to make a change to help create a world worth living in.

Dive into our exciting new Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with Charles Sturt University. Shape the future of engineering – and your career. Choose from civil, electrical or mechanical engineering. With our ‘2 + 2’ format, you’ll do two years on campus and then two years of paid cadetships – anywhere you like – to gain real-world paid experience.

Complete a common foundational first year to see what sparks your interest. In second year, you’ll choose from civil, mechanical or electrical and continue with hands-on project-based learning that brings your ideas to life. For the final two years on cadetship, you can expect to work a four-day week with industry, then study online for one day a week.

There is also opportunities to undertake placement with Transgrid in which you gain valuable experience with a large enterprise in the energy sector.
